Saint-
  • Grant has done a great job. Above and beyond. Maybe the load could be spread
  • Like too see it on the front page of our website.
  • It has been fantastic. really good for promotions and for celebrating and naming excellence in our school.
  • We could improve how it gets out to all parishes and how we distribute it.
Open day
  • went well.
  • Conor did a good job.
  • very good feedback from staff and a parents.
  • Next year their is plans for bigger lamentated posters to go into feeder schools and parishes.
School Visits
  • St Pats 1 visit very good another postsponed
  • 1/2 day St Marys sport cut off by bad weather
  • 1 st Joe went very well
  • Reignier visiting us this Friday.
Signage out the front
  • A quote for $9200 for a slid in board
  • it would be really good for improving our information to parents and providing promotional information for our community.
Scholarship
  • Some progress has been made but still not transparent enough. Work in motion.
  • Numbers sitting the scholarship examination were up.
Newspaper Articles
  • We have had some really good articles and adverts in local papers have been good. There is still a feeling that there is Not enough.
  • Idea to use the college news in Hawkes Bay today- To ask Janine year 10 streamed class to write articles for it? To be actioned for 2013.
Website
  • A push from the group to improve it. Format is not great. Conor to get involved and help out.

School Environment
  • Idea in response to Catholic ERO report -To have our vaules more visiable. To be seen to be lived.
  • It was suggest that we name our values and have then up around the school.
Sports Tournament
  • To be fitted in between Taste of SJC day and Open day.
  • Have it in four established sports- Rugby, Football, Basketball and maybe Canoe Polo/ Hockey
  • boys sign up after Taste of SJC day. On the day have a guest speaker, then complete a training. Then take part in a competition. Name a tournament team for each sport. Have a year 9 sports exchange to Rotorua and Tauranga during 1st school holidays as a carrot.
